I know it seems a whole lot easier to install a keylogger or a filter but why? Why not just sit down and talk to the young man and tell him your observations and ask him why it is happening? I would imagine that the way the question is worded that you already know what he is doing. What is to be accomplished by monitoring the sites he is accessing? Seems that it might be more beneficial to him and you to maybe just talk about it...

A keylogger or an application made especially to monitor users' activity is the ultimate solution, but might be overkill.
Try going to "Tools -> Internet Options -> Settings -> View Objects". There are many items in here that aren't deleted with the cookies or history. If it looks pretty empty (less than a 100 or so objects), then he is deleting ALL temporary files before he leaves the PC.
There is a file called "index.dat" in the main temporary internet file folder. It contains references to sites that are stored even after you delete all Temporary Internet Files. Go to www.download.com or google and search for a utility that can read the index.dat file. You should be logged into the PC under an Administrator account to do so.

If it is your computer you can install a keystroke capturing software. Once the history is deleted there is no way to find out. You can try looking at the temporary internet folder. It usually stores files but if he is deleting that too then you are out of luck. If you have a router, you can print a log. The manual for the router will tell you how to check it. They usually show IP addresses of sites that the computer has accessed. If you can check the IP addresses you can figure out the site.

I do thinkt that prevention is better than cure. you can actually put a restriction on those sites. You can alter the sites restriction from the control panel>Internet option>content and you will see alist of icons. Content advisor can be enabled to restrict the sites accessed by your nephew. You can create an admin account and when you use it you can keyin the admin info and access all the site. when your nephew wan to access it, you just have to enable the content advisor and he will not be able to access the sites without autorization

by deleting the history....IE usually clears the cache....but in most of the cases the cookie files arent. even though these are not very useful we can actually see if he was trying to access any of such sites.. There are many content management programs that can help you to prevent from visiting the site. alternatively you can also enable the content advisor from......tools>settings>content ...
This may help to block these site...but some times certain good sites are also blocked..

Goto C:/Documents and Settings/(theuser)/local settings
You may have to goto Tools> Folder Options>View>Show Hidden Files to see all the folders.
Look in all those folders for evidence.
I strongly suggest that you either get filtering software, or talk to your son about how (your family, or you) dosen't approve of that material.
Just monitor him while he's on the computer.

if you have XP, you could make his account limited so he doesn't have much access to the computer. then your ISP might have some parental control things so you can use that to block out porn sites, then put a password on your username and that should do it.
