Neither company is better than the other. Both offer superior quality products and pack them with goodies.
If you're talking about a specific model from each company, then one might certainly outpeform or be better than the other overall. However these days, the difference in performance between motherboard brands is very little and not worth worrying about. Get the motherboard that has the features you want for the price you're looking for.

if you are narrowing your search to the above brands only then i would say gigabyte....even though abit has some cool stuffs and others.....gigabyte will give you more for the money..
