I could have been dreaming or my grandmother could have come to me in a dream or perhaps she was actually standing outside the window... either way she was telling me I could have her bed now that she was gone.

I honestly didn't want or need the bed, but when I told my mom about it she insisted that I take it. As we disassembled it, I found notebooks underneath the mattress. They were filled with drawings, poems and short stories.

To me she'd always been "Granny"... she cooked, cleaned and took care of everyone. This was a part of her I never knew about.

It made me wonder what she'd have become had she grown up in a era where women could be anything they wanted and were encouraged to do so.

It also made me determined to pursue my own dream of writing. Dream or ghostly visitation? It doesn't matter. It was a gift regardless of how it was delivered.

My father died, at 48, suddenly in a shooting accident in 1993 and then last year at 59 my mother succumbed to stroke. There wouldn't be a day in a week that I don't dream about them and the dream would always be pleasant. I am happy that they are together now and that I have two angels looking over me while am still here. I know in my mind it must be my subconscious that dictates what i dream about. Yet in my heart, i believe it's my parents way of letting me know that they are all right and still love me and I feel like a child again!?!

After my grandmother passed away, I was feeling bad because I didn't get to see her before she die. I dreamed about her upon my return home. In my dream, there was this place where people were laughing and having fun circling a pole with streamers hanging down. Bright light was everywhere. My grandmother was smiling and happy. When I woke up I smiled, because I knew everything was all right. And she was telling me this in the dream.
I only dream about my grandmother now when something is wrong.
I don't call my dreams dreams. I call them visions, because I only (dream) or have visions when something will happen or is about to happen.
An example of this is I saw a vision of my baby before he was born. We were looking for our first home and before we even bought it I dreamed I was walking down stairs in the new house, and the one we bought was the same one I (dreamed) about.
Sometimes this can be scary. Sometimes you don't want the visions to happen but you can't control or stop them.

There's not enough room here to go into great detail, but I had a dream after my dad died where I watched him go through some terrible struggle (judgement?) before finally emerging, hugging me and telling me he loved me. It was one of those very real, spiritual, supernatural type dreams and I consider that it was really him.

Search the web for "after-death communications" and you'll find web sites that have tons of detailed accounts.

I OCCASIONALLY DREAM OF MY FAVORITE AUNT THAT DIED AND IN THE DREAM IT'S ALWAYS LIKE--WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I THINK THAT IT MEANS THAT I HAVEN'T ACCEPTED IT. IT MAKES ME HAVE A REALLY WIERD AND HEAVY DAY WHEN THIS HAPPENS.
