He's been a total freak for a long time. But he was the real thing back in the very early days of rock. Right there with Chuck Berry and the other pioneers.

it's just all the plastic surgery that creeps ya! You know the kids show "Magic School Bus?" he sings the opening song for that - so he even has young fans

I LOVE him!! I saw him once, and yeah, he's kind of creepy. He can still put on a good show, though. A lot of bands I've seen could take a lesson from him on showmanship.
