My best friend is kinda depressed cuz she feels like she will never find someone that likes her because she is overweight. She is also a Christian and doesnt believe in having sex until she is married. Everywhere we go I always get complimented on and no-1 even asks her 4 her name..I feel so bad! But she is beautiful also she just needs to lose some weight! how can I comfort her or help find her a respectable guy????

Sounds like she just has really high standards, and there's nothing at all wrong with that. Her husband will turn out to be one awesome guy, wait and see!

Well....I know its sad...but its still true that guys....are not purposefully looking for a girl that is overweight.
I know a lot of girls that have a weight problem range of anywhere between...just a little chubby...to grossly obese.
Your going to have to convince your friend...that she is the one that needs to take her life into her own hands and do something about her weight....your comforting her with...Oh don't worry...the right guy will come around.....isn't going to help her shed a few pounds....what you need to do is get her walking or exercising.
There is a park where I live, and they have a sidewalk for skating and biking or walking all around the park....it rings a river and is quite beautiful to walk in the early evenings. I sometimes fish the river...anyway...to make a long story even longer....I've noticed women who run or jog the path....and I will admit that while some of them are pretty heavy...at least they are trying to do something about it....besides...how much healthier will they be when they do drop the weight?

1st be a friend to her when someone approaches you both and only ask about you make sure you say and this is ................ and make sure you let her know she is worthy of so much more its not a problem shes a christian and overweight the problem is shes depressed 4 whatever reason but just let her know through CHRIST all things are possible and tell her to pray 4 the good and bad because without bad you cant get stronger and things will get better and to me you dont seem like a really good friend look how you started this out if this is all you see in your so called friend maybe its you who needs a eye opener

If she wants to find a boy, she'll have to be able to convince him that she's worth waiting until marriage for AND worth overlooking her physical imperfections. For even the most respectable and enlightened guy, it's very difficult to get through life being labeled a "chubby chaser" and having it publicly known that you're not even getting laid. I'm not saying she should become a trophy or anything, just help her to be someone a potential boyfriend wouldn't mind showing off to his friends.

Bring her to the department store to get her a makeover. The person will teach her how to put makeup on too. Then your friend can buy it and practice at home. You should probably bring her in the morning when there's less ppl so she doesn't feel nervous.
Play sports with her an hour everyday. Find something fun she can do to lose the weight.

When My soul became happy in that.All of a sudden,a co-Christian-Volunteer that I have known for years.Started having to speak with her more & more.NOT persuing eachother.It was a God thing we started to get to Know eachother.
After several Months(NOTHING in the time frame of a life time)I realized there was Something VERY special about this VERY beautiful woman.The fact she wieghed aprox.100 pounds more than I had NOTHING to do with it.
As A TRUE Christian wanting a TRUE Christian I had to be come patient and wait on the Lords time.and as You(the female friend noted)she IS a very beutiful person.Iassume you mean out side as well as inside.I have lernt through years of being a human dawg(before I gave my life to Christ)Looking at the outside before looking at the soul is ONLY gonna lead to heart ache.
PLEASE Do NOT worry best friend.Keep your eyes focused upon the Lord and ALL your hearts desires WILL be added unto you.
