Actress? Currently Angelina Jolie, although I always had the hots for Heather Locklear.
Actor? It's a toss between Johnny Depp, Jack Nicholson, and Steve McQueen.
Artist (Musical)? Why are you making this so difficult? Let's see...
Jazz: A toss between Marcus Miller and Stanley Clarke, although Jaco and Mingus get honorable mentions and I'm currently listening to Rhonda Smith.
Rock: Grand Funk Railroad is my all-time fav, but I like U2 and Rob Zombie also.
Soul/R&B: Without hesitation, Earth, Wind, and Fire! That said, the Funk Brothers kicked royal a**! They had IT going on when no one else knew what IT was!!!
Rap: Eminem. Honorable mention goes out to Ice T.
Country: The Highwaymen. Between Johnny, Kris, Waylon, and Willie, you've got country just about covered. Well, that is except for Shania Twain. Can she put the sex in country or what?
Classical: Johann Sebastian Bach. This cat was the Jimi Hendrix of his day.
Last, but certainly not the least, we have Prince, or is it "The Artist Formerly Known As..."? Anyway, Prince defies catagorization, just as he defies naming, but he does know his stuff when it comes to music. Aside from being a genius songwriter and quite talented multi-instrumentalist, he is arguably one of the best bandleaders living today. Check out the precision in the Las Vegas Alladin's show DVD.
