tell me did the computer make us? or did we make the computer?
The computer is stored information that we put into it, it knows the chess moves because we tell it how to react, it remembers what u tell it, so it has all of the answers, so if the best chess player finds a hole that the programmers missed on a chess move the chess player can win, so it is basiclly all of the programmers against the chess player, so it is of coarse amazing beating all of the those people who chose the computer how to react to that move. So litterally the chess player who possibly could win is beating the programmers which could be like 20 people. Very difficult but possible if there is a hole, if there is no hole that means the computer is programmed completely to win every chess match possible.

Hope this helps

in chess, it is about calculating moves and predicting possible steps that will ensure wictory. Its about possibilities. Computer are able to store and analyse information that are put into them. That is why if we count by possibilities and caculations, computer can do these faster than human. Yet the human brain are thousands times more complex than a computer as the computer are programmed to do specific task and are not adaptable to changes. Imagine if a computer is faced with a language that they dun understand. They will just tell you that there is error and dun improvise. Meanwhile the brain will try to find ways to interpret the message by seeing movement, gestures and anything that could help in understanding what the speaker trying to explain. Also, brain dun get virus that easily ;-)

In order to give a realistic answer, one must define what you mean by intelligence. A computer is capable of processing tons of information but the human mind 's ability to have abstract thought, creativity of the arts or irrationality is still unmatched (depending your definition). The old addage, "garbage in , garbage out" still defines the computer. Fuzzy logic still has a ways to go because it is illogical.

computers do not have intelligence. in fact, they are still slower than our brains.

the reason that a computer can win at chess is because they can store more moves in their memory than a human can, and calculate each move to it's advantage.

No

A computer only knows what we teach them - so they can't be more intelligent. For now.

When they can REALLY learn on their own... watch out.
