well
since you have 1gb flash drive
transfer some songs into your flash drive from your old compie
then transfer it back to your new compie
old fashion way, but i am sure 100% it'll work
you know, like they always say
'slowly but sure'

Insert your flash drive into a USB port on the old computer. Locate all songs that you desire to transfer. Copy and paste them on to your flash drive. They may not all fit in one trip, but see how many do. When you are finished copying them to your flash drive, click on the "Unplug or Eject Hardware" icon in your task tray (lower right hand corner of your screen) and stop the flash drive. This way you do not corrupt any information. It'd be sad to lose all your songs that way. When you have done so, remove the flash drive from your USB port.
Insert the flash drive into a USB port on the new computer. Copy and paste all the songs to a folder on your new computer. Erase the songs from your flash drive after the transfer, so that you can put more on. Remember to Eject the flash drive before you pull it out.
Repeat the above steps as many times as necessary until all of your songs are transferred. Hope these instructions make sense, and that you get all those songs transferred over!

Hang Hang on, you mean to say you have two computers and you dont know how to copy paste? lol, this is real wierd, well so is the world. neways as told you can use your flash drive, or simply buy a Cross over Cat5 cable from your hardware vendor, and set up a small home network, i believe both the computers have ethernet cards in it, so just connect the two ends of the cable, give them some IP add, and you can transfer files between them, but if you dont know how to copy paste, ask a professional to setup a network between the two machines.

If you have iTunes on the new computer and it is "authorized" and also have a network (or a way to connect the 2) you can copy the songs to the new computer over the network. You need to make sure that the folder with the itunes library in it has sharing enabled.

You can use your 1GB Flash drive to transfer them, though it might take you a few trips back and forth to transfer your whole collection. Another way is by hooking your computers up into a network, then transferring them by sharing the folder.
Here's some info on how to do it:

First do a search on your computer for the extension of your songs. Such as ( *.mp3 ) then copy them to your flash drive. Move to the other computer and copy them from the flach drive to your my music folder.

well if u have songs that size all together 1GB then you can simply take them in ur flash drive.
otherwise, if ur new hard disk is formatted and has full partition, then connect that hd with the extra data cable and power cable that u'll find hanging from ur cd/dvd drive. then you'll have access to the new hard disk. u can then simply copy-paste the songs
hope this works

Your flash drive is good enough. Use it to transfer songs from the present pc to the future pc. What else do you require? Haven't you used flash drive/pen drives before?
