I got one of those nice, cushy toilet seats from my Love, after more than a year of sitting on a very uncomfortable one that came w/ the home we bought together.
Yes, I know it sounds nuts, but I really appreciated it! (I'm the only female in the house, so I guess it just bugged me more. I mentioned it off-hand once, & **Poof**----new seat!)
He also bought these really nice solar lights to line our sidewalk.
AND, he surprises me w/ DVD's alot. Be it a TV series compilation he knows I'd like, or a movie for us to watch together...
He does so much incredibly sweet & thoughtful stuff...too much to list here...
He's asleep now, but thinking about this makes me need to go smooch him...

My favorite surprise is any unexpected gift at an unexpected time (Finding Forrester put that well). I'm not used to such things, and even if it's just a box of tic-tacs or a candy bar, I'm quite happy to receive such.

A list of great things he remembers about me or a notebook of stories of times he remembers sharing with me.
For example, "remember the first time we kissed in the patio at your grandma's house? I remember we were sitting on the red swing chair just slowly rocking back and forth. The sun was just setting and these black birds were noisily flying over the roof atop us. I couldn't stop staring at your beatiful eyes and..." and then it would have a bunch of other stories.
or a box of things he's kept that have to do with us. For example, movie tickets, restaurant menus, etc.

I like it when my husband plans a big evening out -- with dinner, a movie or theater, and a bottle of wine at home to share in the bedroom. The best part is when he plans for the 4-year old to spend the night with relatives!

My favorite surprise is when my husband calls me from his job just to tell me that he loves me and his kids. I love knowing that even when he isn't here physically, he is mentally.

Jewellery that he picked all by himself,If he buys the right item you know he is in touch with your likes and dislikes, he takes notice of you, very sweet

I don't know why but when I'm at work and my boyfriend shows up and I'm not expecting it my heart just skips a beat and I feel so happy.
