Why do people have sex?

Everybody is different, so there are about a million different answers to this question. Among those who wait until marriage, some view sex as the spiritual joining of two people and that's why they wait until marriage. Still others only have sex after marriage because they view it as a necessary step to having children and do not seek out sex as an activity in itself.

More and more, however, people have sex for the sake of the act itself. It can be intensely pleasurable, and just like anything else pleasurable, people like it. In many ways it's a healthy expression of natural instinct, and it can also provide a alternative to kissing and hugging as a way to express companionship. Companionship isn't always a concern, though -- some people just do it because it feels good!

It can be taken to extremes, and there are people who have sex because they are quite literally addicted to it, like a drug. Some people have sex because it makes them feel less lonely temporarily, although it does not fix the underlying problem.

You could come up with a million other reasons for people having sex -- revenge, blackmail, passion, etc... so when it comes down to it, it just depends on the person!

As the people are different from one to other and so they use sex for different purposes.Most use it for fun but some for making babies,some for natures call and some for making love with the lover to make the relation strong.

sex is a human experience that creates intimacy between 2 individuals...it is a beautiful expression of divine oneness, a literal expression of how the human soul longs to return to the experience of completetion with the union with another. it is the most incredible sensory and emotional experience a human can have- if they allow themselves to fully experience it...it is pure bliss, ecstacy, LOVE...it is the experience through which we create new life, beautifully, magnificently, we create life through this incredible dance, the joining of two beings..., the creation of a new being.. a combination of both parents- divine union!
