I've always had regular periods, a 28 day cycle, that last at the longest 3 1/2 days. July and August they have come 2 days early each time, beginning with brown discharge, which I never had and LOTS of clotting/tissue. What does this mean? I thought I was pregnant, but that was a flop (neg tests), so what's wrong with me? I've also been having terrible cramps, dizziness, headaches, and nausea with both of them as well. I don't don't have STD's or a yeast infection either. Any idea what it is?

It sounds like you have a pretty normal cycle. I do not know what you age is, nor do I know if you are taking birth control pills or other hormonal supplements....however, your body does change and go through changes all the time. It is not a problem about the brown discharge at the start of your period. It is also normal to have some clotting & tissue - looking dischage as well. However, I am concerned that you are having the other symptoms as well. These actually could be signs of a more serious problem that could be related to either your birth control method or even from tampons, if you are using them. Either way, you should contact your OB/GYN and explain your concerns to be sure, because going without treatment could be very harmful or even deadly. Also, to be on the safe side...if you are using tampons & having these problems, you may want to remove the tampon & use a pad until you at least speak to your doctor. Hope that this info helps & you feel better soon!

a colored discharge and a change in your cycle could mean many things. A change in your enviroment, if you recently moved or have changed medication or begun taking a new medication (including birth control) can cause both of those things.Sex very very rarely will change your cycle. Those are somethings that can explain it, if none of those apply i suggest seeing a doctor just in case. Good luck and be safe.

Still could have been a pregnancy. If there is a problem, the body will spontaneously abort very early. Ask the ob though. It could have just been nothing, depending on your age and wellness status. Better safe than sorry, make an appointment ASAP!

Hormonal imbalance. After the pelvic exam, your caretaker may prescribe pro-vera to regulate your period and flow. Birth control pills may be another option. Why these things happen can be attributed to stress yet other organic causes should be ruled out. I hope you feel better soon.

Sex can change your cycle. If you've recently started having sex I would say that could be a cause. Are you on birth control? Have you changed birth control recently?

I have no clue, but you should see the doctor. Even though it may not seem like a major problem, just make sure because you never know.

Go to your OBGYN and have them run an ultra sound and get a pap smear done.
