Price will depend on what you are looking for. You can find normal baby ball pythons at pet stores for around $75-$100. Check your local stores. I know most of the stores in Northeastern Ohio always had them.
You can find them online for alot less, but then you have to factor shipping charges in. If you are wanting some of the morphs( albino, pastels, etc. ) they can fetch a hefty price tag.You feed them appropriate sized mice when they are young, rats when they are older. Balls stay small, around 4-5 feet at their largest.

Baby Burmese pythons are a little more money but not by much. They will eat mice and rats but will get quite large and require rabbits later. These can grow to 14+ feet long.
To care for one, I suggest you do ALOT of research before getting your snake. You will need an appropriate cage with heat. Either an undercage heater or overhead lamp. NEVER use a heat rock!! a water bowl, proper humidity levels and temperatures (a hot and cool side) a hide, proper bedding (newspaper, aspen, papertowels.. NO pine or cedar chips)That is just the tip of care requirements.
Just make sure you read about whichever snake you choose. A ball python is a much better beginner snake.

Baby ball pythons are THE most common snake in any pet store. Any petco, or petsmart, or any big chain pet store will probably have some. It will cost about $50 to $90 for a snake. I suggest also looking at all the small pet stores. Call them and ask them if they have baby pythons. Small stores will have cheaper prices, sometimes. Buy a twenty or thirty gallon terrarium with a screen top and ask about a heating source. NO HOT ROCKS. They can, have, and will cause burns on your snake. A bigger terrarium is needed for a bigger snake. Twenty gallons is the minimum needed to house a ball python. Snakes like red tail boas will need an enormous tank. It will cost you around $300 to $500 to get started, and another $100 to feed the snake the first year. At the same time, the first year with a dog will cost around $1000. Another way to house a snake would be to buy a large plastic clear or semi-clear container at Wal-Mart, or Target, or wherever. Make sure it has large horizontal and some vertical space, and drill holes in it. If you want to, type into google what you want, and some breeders will pop up and you can buy a snake from them, and they will mail it to you. I personally suggest Ball Pythons. Also, buy a book that tells you how to care for the snake you get. I hope I helped.

You can usually find pythons at most pet stores they can cost from 50$-150$ usually. you would feed it mice, you can get live or frozen ones(frozen/thawed are better becuase theres no chance of disease/parasites/injuries to your snake) to care for it you will need to do some research on the specific type of python you want, I suggest a ball python if this is your first snake and Jen explains most of the basics for you so good luck.

i got my baby at a reptile expo and he was $25. baby bp's eat pinkie mice or small mice and you can get them frozen, pre-killed, or live (i think live his mean but some snakes wont eat dead ones). you should really read books or look on websites...

here are some sites that you could look at:
http://www.kingsnake.com/ballpythonguide/
http://www.ssnakess.com/ theres a chat room in this site for other questions you may have
http://www.kingsnake.com/ has a list of expos around the usa at where you can go to get one

good luck on findng one! (also, ball pythons live to be 40 so be ready to make a life-long commitment)

I don't know exactly where you could find one but I do know the following: as a baby(15-18 in.).... $50-$150, frozen mice (also called pinkies), get tips from pet store on lighting and habitat.... type of python will matter.
good luck!!!

i'd read up on how to care for one then go to the pet store and see if they can order you one,it might be hard though cause many people have been getting them and get tired of them and let em go.
