spray the ink with aresol hairspray, and dab at it , when you have the ink off, well i dont know if the hairspray would discolor it or not. they make lots of things in the laundry supply business to remove inks, goofoff is one i think, and oops.

De-natured alcohol (about $4.00), or fingernail polish remover on a cotton ball. Also the "dry erase" spray placed on the marks then very quickly wiped using a baby wipe or paper towel soaked in soapy water.
If the markings are on a part of the sofa that has a zip off cover then heavily treat the mark then wash it.

I hope the last answer has helped you, but what you should do from now on is purchase the crayola markers that do not have color in them until used on their special paper. Have you tried the tide spot removing pen? This might work without removing the color of the couch.

The best thing i have found for carpet or upholstery stains is something called "multi-action spot and stain carpet cleaner" its the "great value brand " from walmart but it works wonders !!!!! love it and its under $ 3.00 ~ wow ! good luck

Use hair spray. don't know how it works just does, I use it on my clothes when I accidently get pen mark on them.
