ok i am really pretty(thats wat everyone says) but the first day of high school is coming up! and i am going to have to adjust to a bigger school, i am used to being the crush for all the guys and the pretty one at school, but now that im going to a bigger school i am scared that people will think ni am ugly and i really want to be like these girls i see, sorta preppy and cute, just cute ya know! but anyways tips on how to feel comfortable with myse;lf in a big crowd will be much appreciated! thanx again! ♥ Mary ♥

stop trying to make people feel bad for u thats usually the most annoying thing you can find in a person but ill be a junior this year and seriously just chill out its really not a big deal i mean when i was a freshman i was so scared but u get there and its just the same but so much more fun i mean everything is more relaxed and there are more cute boys that r sick of all the old girls and want some fresh meat so to speak and they will be all over you things usually have a way of working themselves out and besides youll still have all your middle school boys crushing on you

For one thing, if not everyone has a crush on you, it's natural. This is high school, not middle school, not everyone is going to find you attractive because they have their own taste. You can be fine as hell but example: if you're white and some guy likes latin girls, the guy will never have you as a crush because latin girls are his preference, you know? Just be comfortable in yourself and tell yourself that you don't need anyone else's approval to be yourself in a crowd. Don't be overconfident, but just know that there isn't a problem with you if someone doesn't like you, it's just their own opinion. Hope that helps and good luck in high school.

You WANT to be preppy?!? I'm sorry, but I think you need to get you priorities straight. As a senior in highschool, I speak from experience when I say that no one, not even guys, like preppy girls. Yes, guys go out with preppy girls, but it is usually short lived and they usually end up hating each other. I know a lot more unpreppy people who have ended up in meaningful realtionships which lasted for years. And, of course, other girls like them better. So if you want a lot of boyfriends good luck with the whole preppy thing. Otherwise just be yourself, forget what other people, and chances are, other people will like you better for it.

plz dont think that you have to look a sertin way or have a bf to be popular!
when i was in school my daily outfit consited of a pair of $10 black lace up boots from Wal-Mart, a pair of cheap jeans from Wal-Mart, a Usually black baby tee, and a ragged old flannel shirt i stole from my dad. ( i loved that shirt) and of corse i changed into clean clothes each day but it was pretty much the same "type" of outfit every day i didnt spend hours on my hair i just brushed it out every morning and i put on a tiny bit of foundation to even out my skin.
I was the bele of the ball so to say!! I had many friends and numorous guy friends. yes i was picked on by some but those people didnt matter. I knew who i was thats all that mattered. I didnt look like anyone else in the school. i didnt try to be some one i wasnt. and it still worked out for me.
#1 rule of High School BE YOUR SELF our you'll grow to hate who you've become, before collage!!
#2 rule DONT judge others for who they are, because you wouldnt want to be judged, you just want to be like for you.

Be yourself, RULE #1! Guys hate when u try to be the otha girl. Being u is what's attractive. Be comfortable, be confident, do what u'd normally do. Trust me, that's what gets u noticed. Good luck w/high school, kiddo!

If you are truly confident in your looks, and your personality, then you should be fine. Please don't fall into the cliques just to be with the other pretty girls. You can stand out, without having to be following around the others. Don't compare yourself to the other girls, they're all just as insecure as the next girl.

If you did great in your other school then don't worry bout it! Just be yourself, make friends with everyone, and have a great attitude. And People will like you, and don't make it based on looks either...treat people how u want to be treated!
