Whenever you submit any type of writing that is for professional review, double space it. This is as true for college entrance essays and classes as it is for submitting work to be published.

When in doubt, space it out!

As far as I know, you do. It makes it easier to read, so if you can ease the situation for whomever is reading your application/essay it will make things better for you.
