28 Days Later scared the hell out of me.
I woke up at 4 am one morning and could not get back to sleep. I was the only one awake in the house and didn't want to turn on any lights for fear of waking the family up. Crept to the living room, turned on the TV and caught all but the opening credits. It creeped me out so badly I didn't want to take my feet off the sofa to turn on a light or go back to bed. I just couldn't wait until dawn.
I'm not easily scared - I've read every Stephen King and have an abnormal fondness for zombie movies. But 28 Days Later was so grim - no humor at all. I think that's what made it so scary.

The first movie to ever scare the shi* out of me was American Werewolf in London when I was 5. So I will always love that movie.
Best horror movie ever - Suspiria. Dario Argento is a twisted brilliant director
