I just finished watching a Blue's Clues DVD for the 50th time (courtesy my 20 mo old son), and one episode has all three singing different songs. I have always been partial to India.Arie, but hearing them all in succession has me wondering...

India.Arie. She's so incredibly different sounding, and her soulfullness overpowers the other 2. Although they other 2 are very talented, India just has that special "something".

India.Arie is fabulous. Her voice is rich and vibrant and her music is both insightful and soothing. I love the fact that her songs are both old school and new age.
Macy Gray has her own unique vibe. She's fun and funky and her music is great for just kicking back and hanging out. Great beach music.
Toni Braxton was always for the wannabe-bourgeois crowd who think that they are cooler than they actually are. Her voice is ok, but her music has no real depth, not that it's supposed to. The best I can say is that Toni Braxton is Anita Baker-lite.

Toni braxton is good to listen to when you want to hear about relationship stuff. India is like listening to self-help music for your soul.
