So when you complain about other people flying flags other then the stars and stripes, your being hypocrits...It's guaranteed by the first amendment that allows that with freedom of speach ding dongs!

o.k.... my only question is how come everyone complains about the confederate flag and during the civil war Licoln the president quoted saying this
"My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union , and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave , I would dot it; if I could save it by freeing all the slaves, I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that."
The KKK has used it as being very racist but they have also burned crosses on lawns as well. so why are crosses still here.
The north and the south were not all about saving slaves/african americans/blacks and so forth(It was divided then also), But still noone minds the stars and the stripes. Under these stars and stripes there were a lot of incidences in which certain things occured, not just in the south.

I believe I would be classified a neocon. I would not like anyone to fly a confederate flag above the Stars and Stripes. You can fly any flag you want BELOW the American Flag. Also the 1st amendment allows me the right to free speech to tell you you have no clue what your talking about, need to learn to use your spell check, and also the people that fought and died under the Confederate flag were also Americans. And no I don't fly it myself I have two great great Uncles that fought for the Union

unfortunatly some people wish we could way back in time to have slavery and that flag to them represnts that. I wish they could see how wrong that was and why we had to change for the better of all.
