Forget adding numbers, this method works much better and is more accurate.
Measure the area around the chest, which is above the breasts and under the armpits. If this number is odd, round it up or down to the nearest even number. This will be your band size.
Now measure around the fullest part of the bust. You then need to find the difference in inches between the two measurements and this will indicate your cup size.
0 inch difference = AA
1 inch difference = A
2 inch difference = B
3 inch difference = C
4 inch difference = D
5 inch difference = DD
So for example, if you measure 34 inches for your band size and the fullest part of your bust is 37 inches, that will make you a 34C.

First measure under your breast where the bottom part of the bra will fit. This is the first measure i.e. 32, 34, 36. Then measure across your breasts. If it's 1 inch bigger than the first measure you're an A, 2 inches a B, 3 inches a C etc. I happen to be a 35 split down the middle between B and C! Needless to say I have a horrible time finding a bra that fits well. Large department stores will often just let you try on several until you find something comfortable. The measuring thing just gets you in the ball park.

Sorry girls even most guys know this. First measure across your breast to get the number I.E 38,24,30. To bet the cup size takes a little trial and error. However unless you are extremly endowed, most females I have known average to be a B cup.
That would be a good place to start.

Measure under your beasts and add 4". Measure around the fullest part of your bust 1"=A, 2"=B, 3"=C, 4"=D 5"=DD etc.
If you go to any large Dept. store or Victoria's Secret they will measure you. Some bras are sized differently so a 36C in one manufacturer maybe different than another. I wear Victoria's Secret bra's, they fit well and seem to last well.

Just go into Victoria's Secret and they will give you a free bra fitting over your clothes. Its so much easier than guessing. Also check out Oprah's website and search for "bra intervention"...its really interesting and helpful. Good luck!

Most women wear the wrong size bra. Your best bet is go to a good lingerie store and get them to measure you properly.
