That's what this school application is asking me, for me to answer. I can't think of a "favorite word" I have, does anyone else have one, and if you you do, can you explain why it's your favorite word?

Other than God, love ,and Jesus I will say plum. Just say it slowly.PULLLUUUMMM! Of course that is the southern in me. It is really plllluuuuummmm! ok but not as good as the u! It is different, it tickles mmmm,your mouth moves a lot for just 4 letters. I also like the color and the fruit! I hope this helps! Weird question for a school application!

It depends on the context and usage. Such a wonderful language, English has so many many beautiful and favourite words, its hard to choose!! I think slangs should be left out, during selection of a good word--- how about 'euphony'

I say "bajillion" even though it's not a word. If there are a bajillion things happening all at once, it's the only word you can use.

Make sure you pick a really long and pretentious word, like antidisestablishmentarianism. That'll really impress the school!!!

My favorite word is ..'Mom'..because if anything happens, the first word which comes to my mouth is.. Mom..because she is the only one, after God on this earth to help her children.ok my dear.

Jive.... it's just so out there.... can't fathom how people used to say this like it was part of their normal vocabulary... Jive... so many meanings, so many uses... but who'd actually do it?
