I was having a really bad day at work. Hubby knew all about it because I had called him on my break. When I got home that evening the whole house was spotless, both kids were sleeping and there was a candle light dinner for two waiting on the table. The food didn't tatse that great but let me tell ya...it was the best meal I've ever had! After that he took my hand and walked me to the bathroom. There was a steaming hot, huge bubble bath just for me and candles everywhere! He had soft music playing and incense burning. He stripped off my clothes for me and helped me in the tub. Once inside he told me there was a present in there for me but I had to find it. I searched through the bubbles and found a ring box! Inside there was a lovely gold heart shaped ring with a diamond on it! Then he washed me himself. He even shampoo'd and conditioned my hair and shaved my legs! After he was done he told me to lay back, close my eyes and rest. The whole time he laid down on the floor next to the tub and held my hand. After awhile he helped me out, dried me off and put me in a fluffy robe. He took me into the bedroom and slipped the robe off of my shoulders. He laid me down on the bed and gave me a full body massage with my favorite scented lotion! After that we made love and fell asleep in one anothers arms. I know this is hard to believe but I swear it's all true! He is a very romantic man when he wants to be! Times like that are starting to become few and far between but I suppose we are getting older. It's okay though....that just makes it all the more special when he plans such a wondeful time! Take care and I hope you have an amazing evening!

for as long as i can remember i have always saved my pocket change in piggy banks. Since my husband and i met 6 years ago i have never been able to fill a bank full because of this or that money troubles. so for my anniversary he got me a new piggy bank that was filled with quarters.

Pitched in to help me when 4 guys attacked me outside a bar because they mistook me for another person.
I took a whipping at the start but because of this guy's size and speed, we ended up smoking the other twerps.
When I thanked him through my swollen eyes and fractured jaw, he just said, "My pleasure", then proceeded to take me to the hospital, wait for me to get patched up, and drove me home.
We were best friends after that.

One day while driving along a country road my husband suddenly stopped the car, jumped out and picked a quick bouquet of wildflowers for me. This is from a guy who hasn't bought flowers for me more than half a dozen times during our whole marraiage (29 years). That impromptu bouquet meant more to me than all the store bought flowers anyone could buy. I'll always remember it.

my husband recently did a sweet thing for me... It had began to rain HARD in a downpour, He pulled the blanket from out of this car.. held it over my head and around me so I would not get wet.
