Nothing wrong with it at all! It's great that you have an open mind and could like certain songs from any genre. Happy listening to what songs make you happy.

It depends on your definition of Classic Rock. I used to listen to
everything from Queen to Van Halen ,Skidrow to PearlJam and inbetween and now I listen
to alot of country and I know others just like me. Its because Rock
Music isn't the same anymore. The Modern Country today is
kinda what Rock used to be. They have Guitar solos and Party
Lyrics, Not the depressing lyrics you hear in Rock today.
However, as far as an odd combination. I don't think so. I love alot
of different kinds of music. I just think it shows you have a deep
appreciation for music thats all.

There is nothing weird about that. In fact many classic rock bands are now considered country like The Eagles. So the two genres do have many similarities. And I also love various music. It's what makes me ME.

Classiac Rock came from Country Music. If you don't believe it go to most country bars with Live Bands and see what happens to the volume and speed of the music as people get drunkier.

Figure out what music you like and listen to it. Doesn't matter what type it is. Don't waste a moment caring about what some total stranger thinks of it.
However, buy an iPod or something so everyone else doesn't need to listen to your odd taste!
(Just kidding...Eagles, Mellencamp, Van Halen [David Lee Roth-era only], Jimmy Buffett...it's all good!)

Give me a little Toby Keith (Mockingbird) followed by just about any Rolling Stone tune and I'm a happy camper.
I think much of today's country is yesterdays rock.

Hey Jamie,,, I love them both also. I sing Country, and love to listen to the stories it conveys, but I also love to listen to Classic Rock and dance to Classic Rock. Nothing wrong with having good taste.

any music is reliable if it strikes meI do not pay interest to all stuff for all time, i imagine there are diverse circumstances for stuff. i love the spanish style rythms for dancing, and imagine they are in easy words shifting even as all and sundry is dancing. Makes me want to, yet i love the rap/hip-hop, classic rock and heavy metallic all different circumstances operating example in my vehicle cruising round backroads or w/e. desire you get the right answer for this question reason music is soul from time to time too!
