John B is SO right - please don't give the baby a name that's impossible to live with. You have a huge responsibility to your child when naming them so think of the baby first and not whether the name you chose will make you look quirky or daring or free-sprited! I'm sure you wouldn't do that but it's worth mentioning. Have a great time chosing!

Maybe combining part of the mom and dad's names. For example Stella and Kyle = Style. Michelle and Germaine =Gerelle. Donald and Monique = Donique. I think old fashioned names are cool though. Savanah, Daisey, Kendrick etc. Good luck with finding the perfect name and Congratulations.

My daughter is called Violet after her grandmother. I think that a lot of the Victorian / Edwardian names are coming back into vogue now. Perhaps there's an ancestor in your family that had a name that is still beautiful but not commonly used nowadays?

I have always loved the name willow or cody for a girl and elijah and christian for a boy but i found you sometimes have to wait and see what a baby looks like to choose a name
