Considering you posted this in the gardening section I will attempt to give horticultural evidence that JC existed. If there was no JC and presumably no disciples, them how come there is a Judas Tree. Sorry, it was the best I could do!

The New Testament books of the Bible were actually letters written among the Christians in the first century. The fact that the those books (or letters) went un-challenged by ancient historians like Flavius Josephus prove that the man known as Jesus was real. No one in the first century challenged the existence of Jesus because during that time there were still people alive who saw him.

Well, you could pay a visit to Jerusalam and check out the places where he grew up (some parts of Syria as well, like damascus). Definitely do check out the tomb in which he was put in after the crusification. Did you know that the cloth in which he was wrapped was found in that tomb lately, and the DNA samples of christ were collected. A lot of information was gathered out of that, but never revealed to media or public. The cloth lies in Rome now. Also, did you know that there is mention of Christ's name in Holy Quran as well. Well, a lot other things which can't be mentioned here.

Read the bible dude. If Christ wasn't real then there are a lot of people dying for their faith in vain. It is by faith we believe not by sight. When Christ rose from the dead and came to his disciples Thomas didn't believe it was him, John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas because thou hast seen me thou hast believed: Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. KJV If you really want to know who Jesus is go to harvestcruside.com I'm not sure if it .com or .org but Pastor Greg Laurie has a thing there it tells you more about Jesus and who he was. Just remember this Christ died for you. You were on his mind when he clung to the cross and died, he was without guilt without sin but he bridged the gap between God and man so we could experience enteral life. God became man (Jesus) and when he went back heaven he left us the Holy Spirit. Read the Book of John in the new testament. But do be weary of false teachers. I'll be praying for you that you will find the true answer.

well, it might take a whole book!
The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel is about an atheistic journalist who wants to disprove Christ in every way from a historical aspect to biblical aspects. He actually ends up converting to Christianity because his finds were so compelling.
btw, just in case, Lee Strobel IS the atheist. He's writing about his own journey. It's non-fiction.

A historian named Josephus around that time mentioned the actual existence of Jesus. I THINK he was the only one to do so outside of the Scriptures. Since this question is under "Gardening", or you possibly thinking of Jesus as the tree of life?

where did you find the word historicity...not sure its a word. By the way history is the written past...so if people wrote it down, its historical...and because I believe, Christ is historically accurate kiddo.
