I was sold albino frogs as "African Dwarf Frogs", but everything I have read so far is leading me to believe they may be "African Claw Frogs".I was also told by another pet store that they have never seen an albino "Dwarf " frog. Is this true? What is the biggest difference between the two?

After doing some reading online I've also read that albinos are often sold under the wrong names. I would say that, as far as I know, the size is the main difference. The pet store I work at sells the plain brown African Dwarf Frogs, and they only get about 2inches whereas the Claw frogs can reach 5inches or so.

Both live completely in the water, and can eat the same things at first, however when the Claw frogs get bigger they will try to eat almost anything they can get in their mouths.

The difference is where the claws are. African Dwarf frogs have clawed hands, and the African Clawed Frog has clawed toes.

make advantageous it quite is an African Dwarf Frog and not a African Clawed Frog. - - they desire stable water. they are able to be located in maximum tanks yet might desire maximum acidic water than akaline. i think of they could be ok. yet is it a tall 20 gallon or an prolonged 20 gallon? maximum dwarf frogs won't get super. They stay particularly small and in some tanks they attempt to get to the outdoors to respire. so which you're able to desire to computer screen out for that. they additionally desire greater of a mesh masking over the fish tank because of the fact some frogs decide they desire to circulate out... -.- they additionally desire something that stands happy with the water. they desire to get out of the water now and returned or be closer to the properly suited of the tank. So decorations and flowers that would do it quite is welcomed. They eat greater frozen and stay ingredients. the explanation why is : Frogs have undesirable eye sight. whilst they see circulation they assume it quite is nutrition. (some human beings propose that frogs should not be saved with fish because of this yet others say its large.) So a stay mosquito larva is moving and the frog might decide for it. So might your tetras and betta. So it quite is an iffy question. some human beings say have greater advantageous than one in any respect cases so as that they gained't sense too lots on my own. :) was hoping I helped!
