Napoli is a dirty f'n catcher who put our Captian out for 6 weeks...scumbag. But here's my list.
C-Brian McCann
1B- Ryan Howard and Prince Fielder are beasts
2B- Chase Utley but if he defects Youlieski Gourriel, the 22 yr old Cuban 2b in the WBC, throw in Danny Uggla too
SS- Reyes of course, Hanley and keep an eye on Angels prospect Brandon Wood
3B- Wright of course, Miggie, and Ryan ZImmerman
OF- guys not yet up- Delmon Young, Milledge,
SP- Liriano, Lester, Sowers, Verlander, Tigers prospect Humberto Sanchez- Craig Hansen is a future star closer as is Zumaya

Milledge may not be the future of baseball but i think he has a good chance of becoming a very excellent player. Reyes and Wright are obviously amazing players and they will both succeed with the Mets or any other team they are with. I personally like Melky Cabrera not only because i am a Yankee fan but i think he has a lot of talent. I also like Liriano a lot hopefully he isn't hurt i heard he was scratched from the game today.

I dont know Milledge was hot dogging too much for his ability...I hope he lives up to the hype as I am a Mets fan....he will have to be damn good to even be the best young player on his own team...Wright has the best potential to bethe future of baseball b/c he plays in NY, and is very humble with the media, Pujols is still young also. I think a pitcher like Liriano can really capture the media, I shut down pitcher always gets more media than the hitters

Listen pal, I'm a die hard Mets fan, Lasting Milledge is gonna be cleaning tired at a car wash in 2 years, he sucks, he has S*** attitude and I wish the Mets would trade him. I'd much rather have Nady, hell, I'd rather have Kaz Matsui back instead of Milledge.

As a non-Mets fan, i'm able to't communicate for any small tale that escaped the nationwide headlines so a techniques as his habit changed into in contact. despite the indisputable fact that, I bear in mind that only very last season there have been commerce rumors about the Mets finding out to purchase Barry Zito, and the participant gumming up the works changed into none except Lastings Milledge. He could have fetched any style of renowned man or woman veteran gamers a season in the past. to be certain him dealt for 2 very accepted gamers is only about a tragedy. Minaya better positive desire for truly one of two issues: both an instantaneous go back to the playoffs next season, or the total fall down of Milledge's occupation.

Gil M....I know it is easy to leave out Joe Mauer but his age is comprable to the players you mentioned and he is definitely a huge part of the future of this game...other than that, great list
on edit: If Pelfrey gets command of his fastball, he will be right there with all of those pitchers...nasty, nasty stuff
