I've heard various accounts of people regrowing fingers and toes that had been cut off during accidents. The past 10 minutes, I've had an itch in my left foot. I'm confident this itch will never go away. If I cut my foot off, will it grow back? Thank you

Only the very tips of fingers and toes. But you could experiment on yourself and try to be the first to grow back a whole foot.

The foot will not grow back. Doctors may be able to reattach it, but it won't magically grow back. As a matter of fact, the foot may be gone and you may still feel the itch...it's called ghost pains.

I've also heard of this, although my friend Walter cut of his right arm almost two months ago and we have yet to witness any regrowth. For now I would tell you to just cut it off and if it never grows back you can always get a peg leg and be like a pirate.

There is actually a discussion about that, there is a scientific group of that are doing some research about stem cells, and how they would help regenerate any dead tissue or cells.
But don't even try to cut off your foot, at least not yet.

Yes it is possible to grow parts back but you have to be in right frame of mind.
Bit extreme cutting your foot off isn't it?
Have you tried aloe vera gel (99%) it really works to stop itching.

Well, the doctors regrew a nose (I think, might have been an ear, and I am being serious) on the back of a burn victims head, then used that in place of the one that was destroyed.

I'm sure they could grow another foot on you, probably in the vicinity of your butt.
