It sounds like you're doing all the right things so far.
Here are some more suggestions:
Is your underwear made of cotton?
Stop wearing thongs. Drink more water.
Are your pants too tight?
Your vagina needs to breathe.
Wear more skirts or dresses.
If, all fails go see a doc.

If you're sure it's not a yeast infection or an STD then it's more than likely bacterial vaginosis/vaginitis. It's like a yeast infection to the 13th power. I've had those before and it can be really stinky. It embarassed me because I could get out of the shower and stand by the vent on the floor to dry off and the air from the vent would blow the smell straight up my nose and I had just washed! It's not sexually transmitted and is easily cleared with an antibiotic(metronidozole) it tastes bad though. It usually happens to girls that are really sensitive down there or when it stays too moist, like if you go swimming, sweat a lot, don't dry off too good or, if you're like me,you may just be blessed with really wet stuff. You'll realize when you get older what a blessing that is. I'm a nurse so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this stuff. Go to the md's office or clinic, get the antibiotic and clear this up before school because the longer you go untreated the worse the smell and discharge will get.Meanwhile, use soap without extra fragrances and dyes in it, make sure you wear loose cotton underwear (white ones are best because they don't have all the dyes in them),make sure you dry off really well (shaving your pubic hair helps if you sweat a lot down there, or go with out undies if you're in your room, wear loose shorts or a long skirt) and try eating yogurt. It helps fight bacteria in the vagina. Hope this helps.

Wear undies made of light natural material like cotton. Only wear thongs when absolutely nec. Do not go swimming and wash with super gentle soap. If this happens at regular times during your cycle, you can douche, but that is a last resort. Even if you are not sexually active it would be wise to see a gyno because you can get infections from lots of things besides sex.

I would definitely see a gynecologist. You probably do have some type of bacterial infection from sweat. I wouldn't use a over the counter product until you see a doctor. People probably can't smell it, you're probably just self concience about it. If you can't get an appt. with your gyno immediately, I would go to the family doctor. You really need to be seen.

It very well could be a type of bacterial problem... yeast infection and vaginosis and they can give off a certain smell. Best to go to a gyno!

i used to have this problem.probably you should exercise hygiene. wipe yourself after every visit to the toilet.also, try to wear scented pantyliners.every time you can sense the smell,go to the toile and wipe yourself again.after good practise, the thing just completely got away for me.

When I see "women only", I acknowledge it as no other than "there's something interesting for men here". But see a gynecologist, he'll tell you what to do.
