That is going to depend on who you ask.
I'd say Hendrix and Clapton are the top rock guitarists of all time, but then there are excellent guitarists like Mark Knopfler, Chet Atkins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Harrison, -- just too many to list, really!
Of course, Segovia probably is the world's best known...

Jimi Hendrix!! Everybody has heard of Hendrix...
But Eric Clapton is one of the most well known as well.
Eddie Van Halen should be pretty high on that list, along with Jimmy Page and David Gilmour.
Can't forget Stevie Ray Vaughan either.

probably Vaughn or Hendrix but in my personal opinion Tom Morello is my favorite not in audioclave but in Rage Against The Machine but those other two are probably more well known
