First of all, DVD Shrink is meant to import a DVD Video_TS folder that has the right structure for DVD content. You don't use it on a single file.

If you're doing it right and it still gives you the error, search on google using part of the error. Perhaps you'll find out exactly what it means. However, it could also mean you have a bad install of DVD Shrink. Try to remove it, reboot, then reinstall it.

This guide might help you use DVD Shrink:

There can be a problem with either DVD shrink or the filesistem but from what I know DVD shrink is only for shrinking dvd movies and for that you have to mount the movie image or insert the movie dvd and then launch dvd shrink, it cannot work with files

shut it down and try it again. I beleive dvd shrink only reformats dvd type files. IFO files. you may need to have the movie converted then burned. Try the reauthor thing.
