Im not really a NASCAR fan actually i dont like it at all. But you cannot deny how big it has become. NASCAR is now bigger than the FA primership, The La liga of spain, NBA, MLB, NFL. Thats pretty impressive cause NASCAR wasnt nothing not too long ago. With JP Montoya going to NASCAR. NASCAR will even become bigger. Kudos to NASCAR.

NASCAR became big with sponsors, fans, driver appearances, etc.....Drivers like Jeff Gordon are the reason why NASCAR is flourishing. He's always out in the public eye, positively promoting NASCAR. Ex: Making appearances on Regis and Kelly, SNL (a few years ago) and lots of drivers have wonderful charities too. They really do give a lot back to the public. So Kudos to them!

*I just dont like how drivers like Tony Stewart bring Negative attention to the sport. Who needs moody whiny people always crying when they dont win. Hes also wreckless and really has no respect for anyone but himself. We dont need that negative attention in NASCAR.*

Good racing, great marketing and even greater timing. When CART and IRL had their split, NASCAR was on the verge of getting pretty big, then it just exploded. That and Americans love big, loud, fast, RWD, V8 powered muscle cars. It was a perfect storm.

Yes, that's why my simple 144 IQ enjoys watching it, mojo. let's see, car adjustments, pit strategy, fuel mileage calulations, driving 2 feet away from other drivers at 180 mph, naaahhhhh, no thinking involved at all. Thats why race teams spend millions on R&D to improve their cars.

It's a simple-minded sport for simple-minded folk. Nothing about it involves words with more than three syllables.
