Alright? Yes. Healthy for your future relationships? No.
It will probably cause strife and/or cheating over time, but that’s a risk even if you part.

Why would it not be okay? You both were friends in the past, and the relationship is over now, so I dont see a problem with it. Many times when a serious relationship ends, the people both continue being friends with one another. Sometimes that makes the bond between the two of them stronger because they have gone through so much with one another. If you are both wanting to be friends, I dont see any harm in that.

Yes, I feel so. As long as the friendship is healthy and the past is a lesson and one is not looking for more than the other, sure, who couldn't use a good friend? The only question that pops to ponder is why do you ask? What would be the reason you would think this to be a bad idea? Make sure that you know that answer and good luck!

Yes it would be okay but it is often hard to be best friends with someone that you have slept with. However whos to say the two of you can't pull it off. I see no harm in trying.

Of course. Just becuase you break up with somebody doesn't mean you have to hate them forever. My ex left me because she wanted to hop around with other guys. but we are still best friends and we are still there for eachother when one of us needs comforting. Take my advice, stay friends, you'll be happier.

Definitely! Just because the romance and passion didn't work out doesn't mean the reliable, trustworthy and supportive friend has to disappear.

I don't know. I'm facing that same problem except I'm in another relationship. My boyfriend doesn't like him and he doesn't like my boyfriend. Both are good guys but they just have different interest in my well being. Be careful its a sticky situation.
