Why are so many people getting upset that people in this country are flying Mexican flags over the US flag? It's not illegal, it's protected under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution.

Just because you disagree with it does not make it wrong. That's what is great about our country, you have the right to say what you want!

There are people on the Immigration tab that are saying it is illegal.

Not according to some. There favorite saying is "Love it, or leave it" when talking about other peoples views.

The ironic thing is, few, if any, ever did a damn thing for this country!

Respect...... or lack there of. The nation you are in flag should be the flag on top. That aside, has anyone arrested you for speaking your mind on the subject? I think what you are saying is why cant just what I want said be said. I could say the sky is blue and some one will call me a nut, that its really cloudy ect... If you voice opposition to something you have to expect someone, somewhere will not like it, and scream to high heaven. There is no shortage on either side of the isle of those that wish to silence the other side!

Another great thing about this country is that I can tell you that flying ANY flag over the US flag in America is wrong. It's unfortunate that you can't see that, but it's your right, you simple little scab of a human!! (also protected speech!!)

Its not illegal and as one that thinks its wrong I have never said its illegal; not at all. I hope that you would not imply that I think it goes against free speech just because I think its wrong. To be flat out honest with you I hope they do more and more of it. The more of it they do the more mainstream America (me) thinks they believe in Mexico first and should probably go back there. I think its wrong - I think if they want to live in America it should be first on their list, but hey if they want to fly their heritage flag first great - it shows me and lots of others they love Mexico first...and should live there.

Maybe its not the flag at all. You think it might be something else like the attitude or the fact that the message is provoking in nature. It ain't about the flag and you know it. Prepare to meet the INS bus.

If you're holding the mexican flag over the american flag. To me that means you consider mexico a better coutry, or place to be proud of. So then I wonder why you are here in the first place.

When Bush imposed his Spying Bill and used over 800 signing statements to legislation to become Americas new founding father...Isn't that a EGO driven nut case or what!

Free speech is a double edged sword. They can still fly their flag and people can still b*tch about it. No freedom has been lost.

It has always been respectful no matter what country you are in to fly that flag above.(disrespect brings criticism)
