See, as usual, people are not getting the entire story. The man made a movie about Christ and was withstood by the Jewish powers dominating Hollywood. The man lived under extreme stress because he made a movie about Christ. Why? Cause Jews hate Christianity. See, the bigotry started there, with Jewish hatred. Who are they to try and stop or pressure Mel for making a movie about Christ? They did just that. It was they who started the stress on his life. That stress was building up and hurting his career in a city dominated by Jews. When he got drunk, all of that stress just poured on out.
How does Hollywood become dominated by Jews? Who gets a movie? Who gets a promo? Who gets advanced? Why so many Jewish actors getting jobs? Are Jews promoting Jews, to the hurt of other non-Jews? Why am I anti-Semitic for pointing out bigotry?
Mel was not an anti-Semite. If he is now, surely, it's the Jews doing. How is a man supposed to respond to pressure like that? Except to hate them. (and still Mel doesn't hate them) And again, why do Jewish people have such a dominating stronghold over all the media and so many other areas of our lives?

The "show" part is right on the money. And speaking of money..he will try to pay his way out of this through his lawyers. I like Mel Gibson. I like him as a director and an actor. As a real person...he's got problems just like everyone else. He should have to respond to and be penalized for his mistakes just like a real person and like everyone else. Had he killed someone, this would be a whole new ball game. If it were you or I that committed this crime, it definitely would be the "same old" ball game and not the "show" they are putting on now. They are back peddling. Priors that have been swept under the rug are now finding the audience they should have had before now. When someone has 3 DUI's under his/her belt....there are BIG problems there. The fact that he got caught yet again hopefully will mean a stiff sentence this time around. Do you know how many people.....children, mothers, fathers, grandparents, newlyweds, wonderful people with families who love them dearly, lives in motion with pets and homes, vacations planned, and hopes and dreams....that are tragically cut short....stopped completely, over and done? All because one person makes a choice.....to drink...and drive. Mel was fortunate. He didn't hurt anyone...not physically. But he could have easily. He's a real person and he needs to be punished like a real person. It's a shame, but it's a bigger shame that many 3 time violators end up killing someone when they should have already been behind bars for the very same offense. Had they been handled correctly with those priors.....many people, loved ones, would still be alive today. But they are not. So when you kiss your wife goodnight, or kiss your husband goodbye as he leaves for work, when you tuck your child in to bed for the night and look back as you close the door....and see that smile, or hear that voice..."good night mom," when you give your dog a big hug or you watch the hummingbirds at the flowers.....watch the sun go down over the ocean, or see two people who love each other say their "I do's"......that's them,.....those are the people who are losing their lives.....precious lives everyday to someone who like Mel Gibson.......drank and got behind the wheel.....AGAIN. I haven't lost someone close to me to a drunk driver. I'm not an advocate for MADD. I don't even have children. But I can imagine...thank god, only imagine the heartache the entire family must somehow learn to live with for the rest of their lives who have had. Never again will their lives be the same. Ever. Is it asking too much that we beg justice from those with the power to wield it......to do so with compassion and empathy for those whose precious lives have been stolen from them? And, out of consideration too, for those broken hearted ones they leave behind?

The whole story is odd. He claims he is not an anti-Semite and he was just drunk, but how often do you feel the need to go off on an anti-Semitic tirade when you're drunk? I certainly don't. I'm surprised he didn't show a little more self restraint considering all the criticism he got over "The Passion". Wierd ****

He was drunk, and said something stupid - it happens to everyone! Unfortunately what he said has been taken out of context, and made even more significant because he is a top Hollywood actor/director.

I think the media blew it up. He apologized and he should be allowed to get on with his life. Everyone screws up from time to time. I will still go see anything he is in or directs.

star gets drunk - why is this such a big deal - he can afford it. The Revenge of the Thought Police, however, has gotten 'way out of hand.

Well, it will bring him down to reality. He's been a bit too self involved lately, so this may be something he needed in order to change his ways.
