I have enjoyed reading and answering questions here about body piercings and tattoos but I am a little disturbed as to what people actually think is correct or even helpful.

Many times I have read how wonderful guns are for piercing and how one should use alcohol to heal their piercing. How frightening to think that some of these answers are thought of as the best answer!

To those of you who answer and actually know what you are talking about, tell me how and why you know so much. Are you a professional body piercer (where is your shop)? Do you just have a lot of piercings? Are you just a really good listener and read everything you can about the subject?

I help moderate a body jewelry message board and try to learn all I can. I am not a piercer but I read everything I can on the subject and ask questions whenever I can.

yes, people do take this seriously whether or not you do.

Many people don't have someone to ask or that they feel that they can ask and with lawsuits everpresent I am waiting for the first suit filed against someone on an online message board because of negligent "advice".

I have 23 body piercings and 11 tattoos. Before I do ANYTHING, I research it over and over again. A lot of my knowledge also comes from experience. (I mean, I HAVE done this 23 times.) I try to give the most informed information (regarding tats and piercings) as I possibly can, but I always end my spill by saying... "everyone is different and may heal differently."

It is a difficult difficulty while a loved ones member not needs to be a witness and is disfellowshipped. I have had it occur in my loved ones. What ones which are disfellowshipped do not look to notice, they're those who've determined that they do not desire something to do with their loved ones, now not the wrong way round. They are pronouncing that fornication, or anything they're leaving the reality for is extra major than their loved ones. But simply on the grounds that they do not desire to serve Jehovah, doesn't suggest your loved ones does not and it's unsuitable to place them in a difficulty that jeopardizes their courting with Jehovah. They had been a witness, it isn't like they do not know what it manner to be disfellowshipped. Like the pronouncing is going "You are not able to have your cake and consume it too." Your households wish is that you are going to notice the seriousness of being out of Jehovah's desire and what to go back. I'm completely happy to mention that my sister was once reinstated final month after being out for 5 years and my brother after a 12 months and a part. edit: Sorry if I did not ask your direct query. I suppose a well illustration is Pedi C reply. She has now not been a Witness for twenty years. That was once decades in the past. Due to the way in which she left and the period of time that has handed, her belief is off. one million. There was once in no way something unsuitable with going to institution, it was once advised towards going to a four 12 months institution, dwelling in a dorm and so forth...as a result of the unhealthy have an impact on and as a result of the cause you had been pursuing a larger schooling. Love of cash? Prestiage? My Dad was once an elder and went to the town institution within the 70's. My niece simply completed a tech tuition and is operating as a nurses assistant. Due to the difference within the financial system, it's critical to have extra coaching after top tuition to make it. I grew to be an assistant vice chairman in an coverage brokerage with out going to institution. two. Jehovah's Witnesses don't take blood transfusions. three. Associating with disfellowshipped loved ones participants continues to be anything performed on a must bases. Family trade, now not socializing in combination. That has now not modified. When an ex-witnesses has spoke back a few instances and you realize that their solutions are founded on hatred of the Witnesses, that's after we fill the must explain their statements. Because they're probably one million/two truths or one-sided and now not the entire image.

Some of us do take this seriously. Of course, alot of it is BS. I haven't answered those type questions, but do have several piercings. I had my belly button redone in May, and it's still infected. Now, I know these guys that have a shop aren't licensed like the lady I usually go to. My 12 year old wants her ear cartidge pierced and I'm definately taking her to the licensed lady. I try to keep up with things, but do lag some. Good Luck!

i have had 16... so i bet i would know a little more about piercing than someone who has only had 5... but also, if i don't know the CORRECT answer, i won't bother, b/c misinformation is sometimes more harmful than no information
