Failed twice already...

First time I failed for apparantly not staying in my lane during a left turn...even though I could have sworn I did. The instructor was a real assh*le.

Second time, I did everything perfect. Nailed the parallel park, and the 3 point turn. But on the way back, on the very last turn before we got back - a left turn - apparantly I tried to make the turn when it wasn't safe. I thought I could have made it, but he yelled at me not to make the turn since there was a car coming (rather far away if you ask me). Either way, doesn't matter what I think...he failed me.

Tommorow is my 3rd test, and I'm really scared. If I don't pass, I can't provide my own transportation to work, and I might have to quit my job since my dad can't take me anymore.

It seems like it has more to do with the instructors mood than your actual driving skills. But I can't rely on getting a nice instructor...I NEED to pass this test!!!

Can somebody help me? Any tips???

Failed AGAIN :(...

After feeling like it wasn't my fault the first two times, at least I can say it was DEFINITLEY my fault this time. Hit the curb during paralell parking. Twice. And that's one of my strengths too, the nerves just got to me...I did it perfectly the first two tests.

Ah well, next try is August 15th...I won't give up, wish me luck!

It has to do a lot with how you appear to the tester. If they see you as uncomfortable or unsure of your driving, they will fail you again. Relax, and try to pay attention to all the rules, and appear as comfortable with your driving as much as possible. They can't put it down on paper that you failed for not being sure of your driving, so they take away point in other areas.

Don't be scare. Relax, and try to do your best. They will smell your fear a mile away. Try not to be, or at least look so scared.

Good Luck, and safe driving.

Hello, I hope it was not so bad, and you do now have your license to cruise. Third time is a charm. Now, Drive safe. Good Luck. :)

Well, evidently, whenever you think you are doing something correctly the instructor disagrees and fails you so why don't you try doing the opposite? Or, just be extra cautious-drive like a grandma! The instructors are always extra tough on new drivers so, mind your Ps and Qs as they say. Don't drive the way you want to, drive the way they teach you to. After you get your license then you can drive the way you want.

Oh, and you must know the route they use for testing by now, so why not have your mom or dad take you along that same test route and get in some extra practice? Ask your parents to be especially critical just to prepare you (don't take it personally).

And don't feel badly-I failed my driver's test three times! Very few people I know had to take it less than three times so you're about average.

Good luck!

Play it exceptionally safe. My sister was failed twice, once for not seeing a no turn on red box, and once for not backing in straight and centered enough on the three point turn, even though she made it. It is better to be considered a conservative driver than an overconfident one--and the instructors don't think there's anything between the two.

You may have had two tuff instructors, but you need to not let them make you nervous.
If you believe in God, perhaps praying before you and your instruct, or start your driving test.
Sometimes, it's good to talk to your instructor before you leave they might be more apt to go a little easier on you.
Be as nice as possible to them without becoming sickly sweet.
I do wish you the best, but remember to hold your head up high, and look up to the sky and ask God for some help with your drivers test.

Just relax and do your best. I would do everything on the conservative side when you take the test. My father always taught me to be a defensive driver. So if a car is coming even if you can make the turn use better judgment by being cautious. I hope you pass. I do not want to see you quit your job. Good Luck I am sure you will do well.

My only tip would be is to be calm, and don't show that your'e nervous or the instructor will fail you most likely. There's nothing to be scared of. You see all the idiots that are driving and if they passed it, u can. Good Luck!

Dress really really sexy and hope for an instructor of the opposite sex. If not, hope they are gay and go with it.

You need to turn the tables and make the instructor nervous, but not from your driving. This is a GUY'S best weapon against any foe.

Seems to me, it's everyone else's fault except your own. Must be nice to be perfect in a world full of losers. Try actually learning right from wrong and driving like you have some sense. You failed because you deserved to (TWICE). My guess is....you're a lousy driver and don't belong on the road. But hey, only you know how good you are, everyone else is just stupid!

dont let the instructor make you nervous/try to imagine it is just a good friend sitting in car giving you directions/it sounds like you can drive but just get stressed out when instructor is in car

Take deep breaths before you start and stay calm and take your time. Be safe not a show off.
