First - there are so many teens who are not. But the numbers have increased over the years. I think it's just because they either have been taught that it's ok, or they are under more pressure because the society is so sex driven. Maybe the partner is putting more pressure on them. I can't say for sure, but I think it's an awfully heavy burden for a teen.

acutally females, the real reason is because most teens just feel so much for the guy that they wanna give them their all. Me as a teen understands what its like to fall for a dude that you trully care about and you really love him and all, well think you do. Also teens are sexually active because they feel they should be and they love the attention they get from this dude. so in my own experience we are active because we feel we should.

In Romeo and Juliet she was like 13 and she should of been married and have kids. People are just having more pre-martial sex cause people live longer and get married later.

all humanity has always been sexually active. the reason it "seems" more predominate now is because the taboos are fading away, and there are more people, and more are admitting their activities.

They always were, just didn't have the communication systems that we have nowadays (for example: My mom is 83 and remembers 3 girls in her high school class that were pregnant, and at least 4 students with STD's).....Go figure........Take care.......

2. Parents and society isn't there to tell them why they should wait until marriage.

because both parents are forced to work now, and now the teens have more oppertunity
