What is the most important thing for a man to succeed in life.?

Self knowledge, which means, real inner honesty.

If you aren't true to your own inner being (ie your heart), how can you expect to find real success?

In order to know what 'success' means, and in order to know your inner being, you must first know yourself (ie, the difference between who you really are in yourself, your heart of hearts, and what the 'world' and other people tell you that you are).

If you are honest, you will know the difference between real success, ie true happiness, and real fulfillment, and everybody else idea of 'success' (ie material things, position, power, money etc).

There are loads of people who can buy whatever they want, look beautiful, have important jobs and businesses, but who are still lacking real happiness and fulfillment, because they aren't honest and they don't know themselves, so arent able to be true to thier real being.

But if you arent interested in any of that philisophical crap then heres a trite answer for you:

Work hard and never give up.

P.S. If you live only for yourself, you will allways be misrable ;-)
