ooooooooooo oh boy! I wish you luck girl cause you'll need it if you crross the point of no turnning back cause it will be world war three between you and your parents and his, and him and you are in the center of the battle field unless you two find an answer somewhere in there reasoning. But the hardest thing to live with is outside acceptance from other people I am sorry to say. people will talk behind your back and say mean things or even ban against mixed couples I seen it done I heard people called mixed couples (salt and pepper) (oreo) (light and dark shi*) all these names I do not like or condone I just wish there was no racistisiam in the world. I think that is why a lot of people are afraid to cross to other sides of their race to another. I know I done it a few times dated outside my race I like it and made a lot of friends along the way

What do you mean by overcoming the golden rule? The golden rule exists in the 5 major religions of the world, just with different wording due to different languages.

Remember the golden rule --he who has the gold makes the rules. That'll take care of, or at least "trump" any cultural differences -- the side with the money is in charge.

There is NO overcoming or violating for THIS golden rule.

Well, if the golden rule is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I don't see why anyone would want to overcome it. Isn't it better to try to be nice to everyone and hope it will return to you? I don't really know what you're asking.... Maybe be clearer next time you ask a question, and you'll get better answers.

I have always been taught that the "golden rule" is that " If you don't have something nice to say than don't say anything at all". I dont now if this will help you but it cant hurt.
