Why would Tom Leykis make this statement? Is there any truth in it?

Tom Leykis made this statement because Tom Leykis is an ****** with many unappealing and misogynistic ideas.

Plus it's sorta like the pot calling the kettle black. Tom looks fat and balding in his photos. Then again, he's been married four times, maybe that's what made his hair fall out and his beer belly grow.

That said, there may be truth that some women cut their hair shorter and gain weight after they get married but I think this has more to do with the fact that they are having *children* and dealing with pregnancies and also because they are getting older. not merely because they got married.

Edited to respond to tagahanga: Obviously I hit a nerve insulting your friend, Tom Leykis. FYI, I had to google him to see what he looked like, I had no idea. Imagine my surprise to see he was balding and overweight. Seems hypocritical to me is all. Glad you are a popular guy though, thanks for letting us know that.

Why would Tom make a statement like this . . . because it is generally true.

Note the word Generally . . . not all women get fat or cut their hair short . . . but the majority of them do. . . . even if it is 50.1% that does that . . . it is still considered a majority. Last number Tom provided was earlier this year, I believe is, that 72.8% does gain a few pound or cut their hair short for conveinance.

Some of these women you see here . . . claim to be the exception . . . fine . . . you an exception . . . but that does not disprove the rule. Actually, you help prove the rule . . . because anything that doesn't have any exception . . . is no rule . . . but fact.

As for what Tom considers fat . . . if you are 15-20 lbs overweight . . . you are fat.

As for people telling Tom that he is fat, ugly, and balding . . . you are not saying something new . . . he told people on his own show that he is fat and etc. So what . . . he has already taken that material away from you . . . are you intelligent enough to come up with something new.

Also, women do not come to him, because of his looks . . . they go after him because of his money.

And before you girls go after me . . . everyone who knows me . . . knows who I am . . . and what I am . . . yes, I am fat . . . yes, I am losing my hair . . . and yes, I am not the greatest looker in the world. But like Tom, even though I do not have his money . . . lovely ladies still come around me.

I just got two comp tickets for a concert, from an old gf . . . who wants to take me out after the show. Now I need to know who am I going to take . . . my son is too young . . . and I know a lot a people who would be interested in coming.

Wash and wear hair is a good look for some people. But I have been married a while and there is NO way that I would cut my hair short and get fat. But I guess there is some truth to it, some of my aunts look like that. I think its hilarious!

Its a common stereotype. Women that wouldn't be fat don't get fat and women who aren't too lazy to brush their hair don't cut it short. I'm 42, my hair is down to my butt and I weigh 100 pounds. So no its not true. Don't marry a chubby chick that eats alot and complains about all the work she has to do on her hair (by the way i wash, condition and brush mine takes no time at all). Also check out their moms, if they are fat with short hair chances are t their daughters will end up that way too!

No it isn't true. Maybe for most women. Some just give up. It is hard to keep yourself dressed up all the time because you see each other every morning and night. You need to treat your woman right. Treat her like she is beautiful and she will stay beautiful.

Not so, I am smaller than I was when I was married, 42 yrs. ago. I have my long hair and look pretty darn good for a 59 yr. old chick.

I've been married for 17 years, and my wife is hotter now than when I met her. Her hair's a little shorter, but not much.

i have maintained my weight and have not cut my hair short for 30 years. I guess it would depend on the individual.
