Isn't the manufacture of human insulin done by genetically engineered bacteria? I don't think PETA cares about bacteria. Otherwise, they'd be called PETB.

I'm not familiar with the manufacture of human insulin though I doubt it harms anything besides the environment maybe. (possibly)

Then again if you 'manufacture' fur then you're probably not killing any animals.

I'll assume you mean snatching the pelt off some animals back.

If that's the case, then making insulin isn't as wrong since I don't see how manufacturing human insulin could hurt anyone while snatching the fur off an animals back might hurt alot. (for the poor wittle animal)a

Just a guess.
