Depends on how old you are and how long you have been married. My husband wanted children so much that I just gave in. I regret it but would never take my children back. I love them don't get me wrong. But I wish we could have traveled more and enjoyed our marriage more while we still could. But he know now how I feel. Because when the kids come into the picture it is not about you anymore.

Girl, U should of discussed this prior to marrying. All I can say is don't trap him U will have regrets.. especially if U want to save your marriage, but if you have been married only 5 mo. maybe you still have time to get an honest answer from him b4 U both make the biggest mistake of your life. Children are lovely to have, but if you both don't agree than the child suffers. Talk to him asap..

since i dont know why his reason is no, i cant really say if i think he will come around. My husband didnt really want kids, and really wasnt the type of guy to have them, but when i first found out i was pregnant, he was more excited then me...lol.....Now, he loves it, and 2 kids later, is enough, but he wouldnt trade is for anything, just make sure your stable in your marriage, emotionally and financially, because it does put a huge strain on you sometimes

Thats a big resposibility, also thats something you both need to talk about. You need to be financialy secure and be able to have the ability to raise a family. I think he will come to it someday. but you have to both be comfortable with it . That way you both can concentrate on your children.

guys need time with this sorta thing. in the end it needs to be mutually decided. but if your clock is running, then u gotta push the guy. cause if he aint planning on kids, then why marry in the first place?

You should have talked about this before you got married. I've seen marriages break up because of this.

This is something you must talk out with your husband in order to find the answer.

this is something you should have discussed prior to tying the knot. You need to discuss this with your spouse immediately to see if he is on the same page as you.

If he said this before you got married you should respect his wishes. I'm sorry that you have this conflict but if he's told you before you said "I Do" then...
