i drive a scion xB. you can go to www.scionlife.com and find tons of information for the tC (answers to your questions and more...guarunteed!). it is an online enthusiasts forum.
you could also visit a scion dealership, however, some of them just try to sale you the car. at least on scionlife, you can get info (pros and cons, etc.) from real owners. good luck!

We have been looking into the Scion tc for our 16 year old.
Everyone we have talked to seems to really liked theirs.
Here in Florida a new one fully loaded will run aprox. 21500.00
You can get a basic for around 16900.00.

The tC is awesome. It has replaced the Toyota Calica yet is made with its Cassey. It has a Toyota Camry engine in it and it will rock your trip. own one my self and even had it shipped to Europe where I still love looking at its design. This car is hot and you get a lot of Car for your money.
Salute to all you Sion Pilots

From what I know they are pretty good. A friend has one, they get good gas mileage. Not that exspensive, they also come with great options. Power everything, u can even upgrade for the nav system, but that will prob cost an extra 2g's

I am an avid follower of all things import, and my research shows that these cars are great, in every area but one- safety. They seem to be just one big crumple zone. Other than that, they are awesome. Extremely capable of putting out 400 bhp+.

my '06 tC gets about 30 to 38 mpg, depending. The only problem we have had with it is tire pressure...
