Go slowly. Each night go to bed just a little earlier than the night before (may be 10 minutes) and each morning get up just a little earlier. Resist the urge to turn off the alarm, turn over and go back to sleep.

You need to make it your focus. About an hour
before your go to bed at a reasonable time for
school. Do something relaxing, it could even be
a hot milk and than read for a while. Yoga is
a great way to destress. Listen to some soothing
music. It might take you a few days to adjust and
then don't forget to set your alarm, eat a terrific
breakfast. Think of the neat things your going to
do at school, see all of your friends and if you sleep
in, you'll miss out on all that fun stuff.

Start getting a lot of physical exercise during the day and going to bed earlier. Maybe reading something really boring will help you go to sleep. Then, yes, you also have to get up early and do something to keep you awake and active in the morning. It takes about two weeks to really turn it around, but every little bit will help.

Set your alarm clock for early and when it rings get out of that bed! You can watch television and have a warm drink. See if you can set up something fun to do in the morning--meet a friend for breakfast. It'll get you going.
