Did you know that guy from MOESHA DIED?
Lamont Bentley, the guy who played Hakeem, died in a car accident... It happened in January 2005. What do you think? I was sad for his kids and the people who loved him.

Goodness, people, I was just letting people know who didn't know... and don't be so offensive, I know that a lot of people died on that date, but we don't know all of those people. A lot of us watched the show Moesha... if our cousin died, shouldn't we know? Instead of saying "why does it matter? lot's of people died today..."

Artimus Lamont Bentley (October 25, 1973 – January 18, 2005) was an American television and filmactor.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he moved to Los Angeles with his mother Loyce, who wished to ignite her career as a singer. He is best known for his role as Hakeem Campbell on Moesha.
On January 18, 2005, he was killed in a single-car accident when his car careened over a San Diego Freeway embankment, ejecting him (the sole passenger) from the vehicle and into traffic where five cars struck him. He was 31.
He worked on the film Buffalo Soldiers with Danny Glover. He was involved in a lawsuit with a security guard at Sunset/Gower Studios in Hollywood, who accused Bentley and his friends of beating him (the guard).

im sorry to hear that but alot of people died every day some people I actually heard of lamont bentley was not one of them . I ZDO NOT SEE WHY YOU HAD EVERYBODY look ehere in your question when vast majority people do not even know wtf Moesha is.

I don't watch the show but his name sounds very familiar. Did he have any other roles? It's a shame that he died so suddenly.

yes, i knew - it is so sad. that guy from 'The Steve Harvey Show' died, too. Romeo - he was shot to death some years back. it is so sad.

OMG I USED TO BE OBSESSED WITH HIM I THOUGHT HE WAS THEEE HOTTEST THING ='O( MANNN I WAS GUNNA MARYYYY HIMM.!!! ME & MY SISTER USED TO WATCH MOESHA WHEN WE WERE LIKE 10 & WOULD ARGUE OVER WHO GOT TO MARRY HIM.!
