it is funny that every culture has their own vampires. westerns believe the vampire living in castle, wearing black cloak. killed by wooden stack. Chinese believe vampires wearing Ching Dynasty robes, jumping and can be hurt if you throw black dog blood. in south east asia, we believe a female vampire -- pontianak, who take revenge on man and child.
if it is not true, where all these so-called myths/legands come from and all alike? maybe they are just a bunch of people who is sick and couldn't produce certain compound/ enzyme/ metabolism deficiency... therefore they need other people/ animals' blood to provive them the compound to make them survive. and due to this reason, they developed long teeth like fang to make the easier to puncture the vein to drink the blood. because people treat them like monster, they hide in the dark (not that they are afraid of sun), to avoid human, and only come out after sunset. slowly, they become too sensitive to sun light and can get sunburn easily (not turning to ash when the see the sunlight).

No. For them to exist and be completly unreported in todays world is impossible. There have been more reportings of bigfoot these days than vampires, so the likleyhood that bigfoot exists seems greater than that of a vampire. They do exist, however, in legend and folklore, and in the western world, have been a big part of culture for hundereds of years. I don't know about ancient and eastern cultures relations culturally to vampires, but I'm sure similar myths exist (I know they do in asia, I just can't remember where or the legends themselves).

if vampires were real, then the world would slowly diminish of people. We would not have existed this long. maybe i'm high but its sounds like a logical answer.

i dont but people do believe in vampires just not that stupid subculture bullshit found nowadays. all of that is originated from one book which is bram stokers. real vampires are supposed to be more like ghost which steal etheric energy but no blood sucking or none of that ****.

Sure, I'm open to that idea. Canibals are like vampires...they eat human blood. As for being immortal after that, who knows, but I can believe it.

Do you think fairies are real, or trolls, or monsters, or werewolves. It's all just stories that were made to entertain people long ago when there was nothing else to do. Classic stories mind you, but stories all the same.

no, for very many reasons like for starters no one's ever seen one, they just saqy they have for attention. and two, have you ever heard things being proven that they exist, and three how would somebody get born half human/ half bat??? i think the whole idea is just stupid, and also no one started seeing or hearing about "vampires" until books and horror movies were filmed and published
