No, Not before this time. We get more and more chances from God. He wants us, as his children, to follow him. To live in Heaven with him. There are those who are given more chances to change and there are those who keep refusing to. Sooner or later their hearts harden and then there is no more hope for them. So second chances are given...it's comes down to do you accept them or not.

my dh, who understands quantum physics, relativity, and such things says there are possibly 2 dozen dimensions and that this universe is even possibly nothing but an abberation, a blip, a fascinating, terrifying, amazing mutation in existance.
consider this - 'cause and effect' is a function of the laws of this universe. you want to assume a cause of this universe, because that is how we frame reality. but, before this universe of cause and effect, cause is possibly a meaningless concept.
You seem to want to apply the fabulous tales iraqis carried with them from Ur to Canaan to the modern world. There's great insight about humans in those tales, but let's face it, the Taoists have it hands down when they tell you - the god that can be told is not the true god.

There is no 2nd chance, you have to get it right the first time.
God might have some mercy and not destroy your city, if you pray, but thats about the only 2nd chance you get.
or if you messed up your life, he might fix it and give you that 2nd chance.

I don't think there is a god. Or at least a god like how we see him or it. I personal think if there is a god that made us or the universe he does not judge us at all and there is no heaven , hell or even a after life at all.
