I tuned in late after Hot Topics and Barbra Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck were having a major argument. They went to commercial, came back and Barbra seemed to be apologizing to Elisabeth. What was the hot topic and what was said to make all of them so upset? I'm dying to know.....

Elisabeth was simply stating her point of view...after being ATTACKED by Joy and Lisa Loeb (the guest host). Elisabeth is passionate about what she believes i am SO GLAD she stood up for her beliefs. I could not believe Barbara told her to calm down. The OTHER co-hosts were the ones who needed to calm down and let Elisabeth talk. I am so glad the View has a great, conservative young lady like Elisabeth.

They were talking about the "morning after pill" being sold over the counter and Elizabeth went on a tangent because she is completely pro-life and she wouldn't let anyone else give their opinion. She was flailing her arms around and really getting upset and Barbara had to reprimand her and tell her to calm down because she wasn't listening to anyone else. Elizabeth said "sorry barbara, this just makes me so upset". Barbra said she had to understand other peoples opinions on the matter the circumstances surrounding rape and incest and stuff like that where this birth control would help. This is the gist of it. When they came back from commercial Elizabeth looked like she had a talking to by the head honcho.

They were talking about the morning after pill- and how it's going to be an over the counter drug. Elisabeth was her typical conservative self and said that life starts at conception so this drug is soooo awful. Barbra thought her views were extreme[ they are!!]

Barbara was talking about how they are trying to pass legislation to allow the morning after pill to be sold over-the-counter, and Elisabeth was saying that life begins at conception and she started getting really upset.
