The objective part of the resume is primarily to tell the employer why you want the job and any career goals you may have.

As for the interview, practice going over questions with yourself or someone else. Here are some common interview questions:

1.What are some of your strengths/weaknesses?
2. What kinds of career goals do you have for the future?
3. Are you looking for long-term employment?
4. Where do you see yourself in (5,10,15) years?
5. Why should we hire you over the other qualified candidates?

Those are just some of the questions I have been asked recently. You could probably go to Monster.com to get more thorough questions and better help with the objective portion of your resume. Good luck!

hehe that first answer is funny. i'm not trying to trash anyone but come on! Never make a random generalized statement. HR are always looking for reasons to throw a resume out.

an objective: how about to gain the trust of my employer and fufill my job's expectations so I can learn how a bank is successful at keeping it's clients satisfied. ?

I usually put something like...'To obtain a position that builds upon my previous experiences with.....and provides career growth and opportunities to learn new skills.'

Since you are looking at a customer service position...you should definately mention providing customer service...good luck
