what would be your first reaction to someone putting a gun in your face?

say it was someone off the street,that just came up to you after a heated arguement,would you take it from them (if possible) or just try and talk your way out of the whole situation? what would you do?

depends on the circumstances, I was married and my exhusband and I owned guns and we had an ffl license to sell guns and wen to the shooting range and onje day he said he should shoot me during an arguement and I told him he had better kil me cause I will not play that and I will shoot his *** the minute he changes his mind and puts that gun down and I meant every word of it, I do not threaten I follow through, he never tried that ,either, but that was my ex and I had more contempt for him than fear, and was the crazier of the two of us, I could not say how I would react other than I might be shocked or dumbfounded at first and think this person has lost their damn mind.,then it depends o0n my flight or fight response and fight is usually my response, I might end up getting myself killed

Fear, but I actually learned in a self defense class if you grab the gun and twist it, the person cannot pull the trigger. I doubt I would be able to do that.

But I certainly would never go anywhere with anyone just because they are waving a gun at me. I would rather they shoot me where I am, and maybe can receive help, than to go somewhere with someone, possibly get raped and tortured and killed anyway. I'll take my chances right where I am.

ck tosee if the safety is on,,, the last time that happened , i simply ducked , gave him a precordial thump( hit him hard right over the zxyphoid process) broke three ribs, took the gun and all the bling he had and left him lying in the parking lot

Do what he says until I see if there's a chance or not. It also depends on the gun. Different guns need different approaches, and different reaction times.
Mostly depends on his/her attitude.

I can take a pistol, a rifle, or a shotgun out anyone's hands who is silly enough to put it that close to me. I'd take it and shoot the sucker without a second thought.

In my head I smacked it away with my hand, and beat the crap out of him...but really just said whoa and got lucky...
